This hands-on Moodle workshop will use a range of presentations, demonstrations and practical activities to provide participants with a good understanding of how Moodle can be used to actively engage learners. Cohorts are very useful in Moodle 2, but with the upcoming Moodle 2.2 release - cohorts become much more useful.
