As you can see, Moodle and Mahara complement one another. Moodle learning management system (LMS) is among the most popular LMSs in the world, couple it with the open source e-portfolio system Mahara (through a single sign-on!) and you get a Mahoodle configuration. This Mahoodle learning ecosystem offers a very powerful learning environment which reflects the learning needs of modern students. And in a world that needs people to think constructively, work collaboratively and constantly be learning, together these systems ensure that our students are team players who have the skills and learning framework to keep up in an ever-changing world.

The Moodle Wall for Moodle 2.x just got better. Much better. And the best part is that, in the spirit of Christmas and Open Source, I am giving away the prized source code to all Moodle developers and students.

This plugin adds the ability to export Moodle wikis as either PDFs or epub documents.
It was developed by Davo Smith of Synergy Learning, on behalf of the Judicial Institute for Scotland
Users with the 'mod/wiki:managewiki' capability also get a 'Sort pages for export' link, that allows them to choose the order in which pages will appear in the export.
There is an additional global setting which allows a copy of any wikis on the site to be sent (as a PDF) to a given email address, whenever they are updated (note, this will not export all wikis on the site the first time it is configured, it only sends those that have been updated since the email address was first entered).
When used in combination with the EJSApp plugin, you will be able not only to access, search and download these applications but also to add them automatically to your Moodle courses as activities.
y similar to this but it involved a role and permsiion changeThe Question Creation Activity is a graded activity where students must create questions in the Moodle question bank. A teacher grades the questions.
The students get a grade for the questions they create.
You can specify a percentage of the grade to be automatically assigned depending on how many of the required questions the student creates and the rest of the grade awarded to the student to be dependent on the grade a teacher assigns for the questions created.
It is possible to choose that the activity is 100% automatic grading without any teacher manual grading, or 100% manually graded by teachers.
You can chose the question types students will be allowed to create and the number of questions required to complete the activity.
