How To Use Google Voice Commands In Google Drive | Moodle and Web 2.0 | Scoop.it
Since its inception, Google Drive has been a source of excitement for innovation-minded educators. However, as with any new teaching technology, you may find yourself thinking “it sounds intriguing, but will it really make a difference?” In regards to Drive features like audio feedback, the answer to that question is an unequivocal yes. Aside from offering convenience and helping spare teachers from endless amounts of typing, the addition of voice commenting brings with it profound benefits to the learning experience as a whole. Below, you’ll find five compelling reasons to give it a try, as well as a simple guide on how to get started.

Top 4 Benefits of Using Moodle for your School - Why it Works as a Platform for Student-Teacher Interaction

Top 4 Benefits of Using Moodle for your School - Why it Works as a Platform for Student-Teacher Interaction | Moodle and Web 2.0 | Scoop.it
”The only person who is educated is the one who has learned how to learn and change.”

– Carl Rodgers

The aforementioned quote rightly suffices the problem arising in prevalent education system. We have been cultivating ourselves since the early 19th century to use the ever changing and advancing technology. We have witnessed a revolution of “doing things” the novel way, which is through the use of technology but it is sad to know that our teaching or educating methods are still the traditional practices of a chalkboard inside the four walls of a classroom.

People certainly make use of the information available over the internet but there is lack of creativity in the teaching methods. It has been found that students lack interest in lectures over long periods of time, feel anxious to put forward their views/opinions, are hesitant to even ask a question and the list extends on, this results into confused behavior and leads up to long hours of surfing of questions over the vast internet that are left unanswered. So what is the ultimate solution? There are no “un–answers” here. MOODLE is the ultimate answer to all students’ as well as teachers’ worries.

How To Create A Google Drive Classroom

How To Create A Google Drive Classroom | Moodle and Web 2.0 | Scoop.it

"Using the cloud in the classroom can be a powerful thing.

One of the most common uses of the cloud in today’s classroom is word processing, and one of the most common cloud-based word processing platforms is Google Drive.

We’ve talked about offering voice feedback to documents. In the above below, teacher Bjorn Behrendt explains how to set up a classroom in Google Drive. He offers dozens of tips to pre-empt the kind of challenges that you’re likely to see (e.g., students unknowingly duplicating the same file several times, not knowing which folder to turn work in to, etc.)..."

Moodle plugins: Video Easy | Moodle and Web 2.0 | Scoop.it

VideoEasy  replaces links to media files, with  html5 players. Primarily intended for html 5 video, it will also work for audio, youtube or rss links.

The Video Easy filter uses templates to support multiple players, and allows the user to add new players or customize existing ones, all from the Video Easy filter settings pages. By default players are already defined, and can be used as is, for: Video.js, Sublime Video, JW Player, Flowplayer and MediaElement.js

But preset templates are available for other players, and you are encouraged to use the existing players and presets as examples, and make your own templates.
