Ayde Almaraz's insight:

Lowrey, Annie. "Raising Minimum Wage Would Ease Income Gap but Carries Political Risks." The New York Times. The New York Times, 12 Feb. 2013. Web. 09 July 2014.

The article is about our president Obama wanting to raise the minium wage to $9.00 an hour. If it goes through they will raise the cost of living. If they raise the cost of living we want be fixing anything it will stay the same. More cost of loving that will equal to more poverty. So yes we want to raise minium wage but have we thought about the effects and whos is it going to hurt ?

Ayde Almaraz's insight:

Wihbey, John. "Effects of Raising the Minimum Wage: Research and Key Lessons." Journalists Resource RSS. N.p., 20 Feb. 2014. Web. 08 July 2014.

This article is about raising the minimum wage of workers to $10.10 or $9.00. Everybody is for the people. Is it worth doing something to just see if it works out. What if the effects of raising the minimum wage is far much worse then we think. Raising minimum wage would be good for many of us, but we should take it slow. Money can get over your head really fast. If we make a move to fast we might have to move two steps back. Little by little is best. As they say, you should never dive into a shark tank head first.

Ayde Almaraz's insight:

In this picture i see money and court. I see how court agrees where the money is. I see how the opinion of others cannot be considered if money is present. I see how unfair people are treated. I see how freedom is only for the rich. I see how murders, rapist, thefts, liars, and drug dealers can be pardoned if they place money on the table. This society lives in a lie. Its all about the money. It always was. It always will be. Society is sick. People should stand up for the values of the US. Court should not make money the most important they should put what the people have to say first.

Justin Bieber 'arrested for driving under the influence' | money buys freedom | Scoop.it

Ayde Almaraz's insight:

Parker, Heidi. "What a Performance! Justin Bieber Waves for Cameras as He Is Released on $2,500 Bail after Spraying Cops with F-word during DUI Arrest." Mail Online. Associated Newspapers, 24 Jan. 2014. Web. 09 July 2014.

This article is about young artists believing to have the freedom to do whatever they would like. They think  there is no worry. They think that what they do is just part of a long journey and that it will probably go away by just investing a little bit of money. They think  money can buy everything, and the scariest part is that sometimes, actually most of the times it can. this article is also about telling the truth about people. It wants to show that Justin was not the only one with no worries but his dad also. When money gets over an artist head i guess i gets over the parents head also.

Money buys freedom | ODYSSEY Online | money buys freedom | Scoop.it
Ayde Almaraz's insight:

Rollins, Hannah. "Money Buys Freedom." Odyssey Online. N.p., 24 Mar. 2014. Web. 9 July 2014.

This article is about how money is boss when it comes to things. In this article a 16 year old boy murdered four people and was just sentenced to go to a rehabilitation center just because he comes from a wealthy family. Is that fair. What would happen if it was a person who lived off their pay check. Would they get the punishment of going to a rehabilitation center or would they go to jail. Why does money have the last word. Everybody is equal. Money should not be in the question. If only the poor can go to jail, can the rich be the only people to have freedom rights.

Everything you need to know about posting bail or a bail bond.
Ayde Almaraz's insight:

"Bail: Getting Out of Jail After an Arrest | Nolo.com." Nolo.com. N.p., n.d. Web. 09 July 2014.

This article is about setting bails and how people deal with those bails. Its true what they say, people would do whatever just to get out of jail. Bail is a way to help people, especially the needy. The people decide what to do. One thing people should worry about is who they place bail on. Is it right to place bail on people who don't deserve it. What about the people who take advantage of bail, who don't go to court after. Bail should be placed on certain people. Judges should be careful on who they place bail on. People who deserve jail time should get jail time and the ones who did minor bad things deserve a bail.
