Australian payments products provider Cuscal has unveiled a trial program which will let banks offer a smartphone app to make any new Android smartphone replace Visa credit cards.

No longer will there be a need to keep your wallet with you at all times. Australia Financial Review takes a look into the new technology being developed allows you to have your mobile phone act as your credit card through the use of HCE (Host Card Emulation) technology. It is not a push to say that it wont be long and your entire identity (Passport, ID, Bank Information, Health Care Card) will be available on your mobile.
