¿Puede una app móvil mejorar el aprendizaje?

¿Puede una app móvil mejorar el aprendizaje? | Mobile learning and app design for educators | Scoop.it

3 benefits of mobile learning you’re not leveraging

3 benefits of mobile learning you’re not leveraging | Mobile learning and app design for educators | Scoop.it
One of the most common mistakes schools make with 1:1 mobile programs is that they treat the devices as if they were regular computers.

Juliet O'Connor's curator insight, September 7, 12:09 PM

This Article is about how schools are now using electronic devices like Ipads to help teach. However the articles main focus is that there are even more benefits to mobile devices in schools. The article provides 3 benefits of mobile tools.

I think that using Ipads in schools to help students take notes or even record teachers lectures is a great way to use technology. The benefits include using different apps in order to help students take notes or create project digitally. I can certainly see how students could benefit from these different ideas because today I think that children are a lot more technology savvy then I was 10 years ago. I think they get more and more savvy as more technology comes out. Personally I prefer to take notes on paper but I feel like younger generations prefer to do everything digitally. I use my computer primarily as a computer but I do know that some people use different apps in order to help them study like note card apps or organization apps. Children can definitely benefit from using their ipads for different reasons besides just using them at computers.

"Since we learn how to create narrated slideshows on the iPad using EduCreations (free) and Explain Everything(the most powerful app available for classroom media creation, IMHO) I create a narrated slideshow that same night to answer submitted participant questions. I’m able to view these readily as Google Form responses in an automatically-generated spreadsheet."

Analyzing iPad Myths in Education - teachingwithipad.org

Analyzing iPad Myths in Education - teachingwithipad.org | Mobile learning and app design for educators | Scoop.it

 - teachingwithipad.org"Preamble: This article is to support iPads in teaching. However, it is not to devalue the benefits of a great teacher. The execution of iPads in class is only going to go as far as the passions and mindset of the teacher allows it to. In other words, the iPad will never replace quality teaching.

I have enjoyed working again with Richard Wells on this post, despite the 19 hour time difference (which, I guess, is only a five hour one!). If you haven't read our previous post, please check it out: The Habits and Philosophy of an Effective iPad Teacher. I look forward to one day working alongside Richard, perhaps even in person!

The following post will give reasons and arguments FOR teaching with iPads. We hope it will give you some key justification points in your teaching journey to implementing proper technology (specifically, with iPads) into your everyday teaching."

Two Great Periodic Tables of Educational iPad Apps ~ Educational Technology and Mobile Learning

Two Great Periodic Tables of Educational iPad Apps ~ Educational Technology and Mobile Learning | Mobile learning and app design for educators | Scoop.it

"Today as I was wading through my Twitter feeds I came across a link to the periodic table of iPad apps created by ICTEvangelist.Upon checking this work I learned that it is inspired by a relatively similar work done by Sean Junkins which I have featured in an earlier post in this blog. Different as they are, both of these periodic tables provide an interesting collection of educational iPad apps you could probably consider using with your students. These apps are arranged under different categories and each of these categories  has a unique colour code to help you identify apps belonging it. The labelling of the categories in these two periodic tables slightly differ from one another with ICTEvangelist tending to repurpose his work for UK-based educational settings."
