Alcatel One Touch Fierce and Evolve head to T-Mobile USA | Mobile IT | Scoop.it

"Smartphone manufacturer Alcatel this week announced a partnership with T-Mobile to roll out its latest handset offerings in the One Touch line, the Fierce and the Evolve. The phones, which are scheduled for release in October 2013, were specifically designed to deliver a strong entry-level smartphone experience at a relatively low cost compared to Alcatel’s current stable of handsets."

Nokia Lumia 925.. T-Mobile Review

Nokia Lumia 925.. T-Mobile Review | Mobile IT | Scoop.it

"T-Mobile finally gets a high end Windows Phone with the lovely Lumia 925. This is the first Lumia model with a dash of metal and we really like the aluminum surround breaking the sameness of the polycarbonate unibody design. The phone isn't available in those wild Lumia 920 colors, but we have to say it does look good in white, black and gray options. The smartphone is a bit slimmer and nearly an ounce lighter than the Lumia 920, but it keeps the excellent 8.7MP PureView camera.."

Sony Xperia Z.. the T-Mobile review

Sony Xperia Z.. the T-Mobile review | Mobile IT | Scoop.it

"Sony’s Xperia Z has been a sleeper agent of sorts: launched to great fanfare at CES in January, overshadowed by the Galaxy S 4 and HTC One at launch, and yet grabbing upgrade sales from under Samsung’s nose in Europe. Not bad for a company once written off in smartphones, and now Sony is hoping to repeat that success in the US, with a launch on T-Mobile USA.."

Huawei PRISM II coming to T-Mobile: all naming conventions coincidental

Huawei PRISM II coming to T-Mobile: all naming conventions coincidental | Mobile IT | Scoop.it

"The Huawei PRISM II is coming to T-Mobile, this a smartphone that succeeds a relatively unknown original with the same carrier from months past. This device is not aiming to break the bank, nor is it headed to the top of the “must have” lists of any top-tier hero phone collects lists. Instead it’s another effort from Huawei to attach itself to the United States smartphone market without too much of a hubbub..."

LG Nexus 4.. T-Mobile review

LG Nexus 4.. T-Mobile review | Mobile IT | Scoop.it

"The difference between the Google Play Nexus 4 and the T-Mobile Nexus 4 is neither in the hardware nor in the software, but in the cost and agreement you’ll be making with T-Mobile – but that doesn’t mean we can’t give some more time to Google’s own smartphone hero for Android 4.2 Jelly Bean – for science!"

Nokia Lumia 810.. review

Nokia Lumia 810.. review | Mobile IT | Scoop.it

"With the Nokia Lumia 810 comes T-Mobile’s chance to jump aboard the Windows Phone 8 / Nokia train to victory with a slightly powered-down version of the hero Lumia line introduced earlier this year. We’ve got our review of the Nokia Lumia 920, a beast of a machine with its own set of top-tier features, now we see the lower end of the spectrum with the 810 and its slightly less daring smartphone body. As it turns out, much of the experience here is the same, with not a whole lot of apparent difference to be seen between this and any other high-powered Windows Phone 8 smartphone on the market thus far."

LG Optimus L9.. T-Mobile review

LG Optimus L9.. T-Mobile review | Mobile IT | Scoop.it

"Most of us know that when it comes to smartphones, it’s a constant struggle to find the right balance between power, looks, and affordability, with affordability normally losing out in the end. The problem most of the time is that the affordable phones don’t always look the best and typically don’t have the best hardware under the hood. If you want a phone that looks sleek and performs great, you’re going to have to shell out the big bucks, right?"

T-Mobile myTouch and myTouch Q Review

T-Mobile myTouch and myTouch Q Review | Mobile IT | Scoop.it

"This week we’ve gotten our hands on the next generation of myTouch devices for T-Mobile, one with a push-out QWERTY keyboard, the other without. Both of these devices are essentially identical save for the slight difference in hardware with the keyboard, otherwise they’ve both got a 4-inch display at 480 x 800 pixel resolution, a 5 megapixel camera on their backs with a single LED flash, and they’ve got single-core 1.4GHz processor inside as well."

Top 5 Smartphones 2013.. T-Mobile

Top 5 Smartphones 2013.. T-Mobile | Mobile IT | Scoop.it

"T-Mobile has stepped up its game recently in an effort to compete with Verizon, AT&T and Sprint in the United States. The carrier recently announced 4G LTE service in seven  markets, and many customers will find that their phones will fall back to its still fastHSPA+ network where LTE isn’t available. In addition, several of its new handsets offer HD voice support to other HD-voice enabled devices, and calling over Wi-Fi networks. That’s not all.."

HTC Windows Phone 8X.. T-Mobile review

HTC Windows Phone 8X.. T-Mobile review | Mobile IT | Scoop.it

"The HTC Windows Phone 8X is without a doubt the finest Windows Phone machine HTC has ever produced, and certainly one of the most beautiful devices they’ve ever created regardless of operating system. Because we’ve already done a full HTC Windows Phone 8X review as the device exists on AT&T, the following look a the T-Mobile version will be shorter than your average SlashGear review – especially here since the differences between the devices are so incredibly few. Just as Samsung got wise with the Galaxy S III and having the same hardware and software build, for the most part, for carriers across the earth, so too has HTC kept the fighting “one design for all” spirit here with the 8X, a strong device from all angles."

HTC One S MAO edition T-Mobile.. hands-on

HTC One S MAO edition T-Mobile.. hands-on | Mobile IT | Scoop.it

"With an update that makes one change and one change only, T-Mobile and HTC have brought the HTC One S back in its true form: red under the hood with Micro Arc Oxidation through the body. This device now matches the original HTC One S’s hardware basically top to bottom, with a body that’s not just a standard metal, but a metal that’s gone through a process which makes it essentially impervious to everyday damage. This device is also being offered by T-Mobile for an undeniable price at the moment: absolutely free."
