Studying is not the intended function of this application, however, by uploading lecture slides as images, or taking pictures of the board during class, then uploading these images to Pixntell, would allow you to create your very own custom Flashcards. By recording your own audio notes to accompany the images, you could create short movies that could act as bitesize recap tools to support your revision, or prompts for studying, or a visual plan for your coursework. The inclusion of integrated hardware sensors in mobile devices provides the possibility of augmenting learning activities with sensor data. Technology enhanced learning activities, such as those created with the mobile authoring tool in this project, capture spatially distributed physical sensory data, such as video, photos, audio recordings, and GPS locations. Vogel, Spikol, Kurti, and Milrad (2010) state that there are ongoing research challenges related to integrating this collected sensor data to support learning but conclude that “mobile learning can best provide support for learning in context” (p. 65). Thus, the proposed tool must promote capturing contextual experiences via multimedia examples of the environment and their locations. Context is defined as any information illustrating the situation of a learner such as location, time, activities, and surrounding environmental characteristics (Vogel, Spikol, Kurti, & Milrad, 2010). As a result, the proposed tool will capture a representation of these contextual attributes. Via Nik Peachey

How To : Visually Record Ideas Using an iPad Visual recording is similar to audio recording: they both use the same concept that is : recording.
