First, the SmartAV is super cool and has mad new feautures that make mixing mad easy. Pros, a lot of functions, and over 40 years of expierences to the owner who created this product, so theres a lot of thought into the product. Cons, price, look, and might seem scary to the costumers who want to learn a new product.

The website lets you know how to shop for the right interface. Knowing what to buy when it comes to interfaces is important. Especially when operating a portable studio. A USB plug in is ideal. Also there is no need for the large number of channels. Like the article says buy for what you need. Know the number of mice, monitors, etc.

Pros: Is one of the easiest ways to upload and share the works that you record.

Cons: I don't think that the quality will be good, or at least not how you spect. because is not mixed, is just recorded and uploaded.

Da'Vaughn A Ray's curator insight, February 15, 2014 12:55 PM

This article simply shows the evolution of technology at its finest. Being able to mix and record things off your phone.

Pros: Its gotta be the fastest way to upload right after recording because phones are now like a second form of ID.

Cons: I would think the quality would suffer because phones are made for communication mainly they touch on every other thing but are mainly for talking.
