"Even a small increase in blood lead concentrations of 1 µg/dL was associated with significant increases in teacher-reported emotional and anxiety problems. Girls were more likely to have internalizing problems such as anxiety and depression, and boys were more likely to have externalizing problems, such as attention and conduct issues."

Do schools recommend screening? Do pediatricians screen for CAUSE, or just prescribe medications to mask the symptoms of behavior issues?
