Una muy interesante polémica está surgiendo en los Estados Unidos al hilo del desarrollo y la popularización de los tests que permiten el análisis genético avanzado, bien por identificación de marcadores o por secuenciación completa, a costes que pueden considerarse ya como razonables: ¿tiene un paciente derecho a rechazar una prueba diagnóstica de este tipo? ¿Se debe permitir la objeción a conocer nuestro ADN? Sobre este tema ya avancé algunas ideas hace algo más de un año, al hilo del progresivo descenso de precio de este tipo de pruebas.
