After I read this article, I asked myself what is advertising. I think the aims of advertising are to attract the attention and interest of consumers and stimulate their desire for purchasing. So whatever kind of advertisement should spread the advanced and beneficial parts of culture, and serve the modern civilization. In my personal ideas I believe advertisement not only is a tool to sale products but also is a form of culture and a way of cultural propagation. However like this article said there are sadly more and more brands with less and less to say, on the contrary increasing a lots ineffective advertising. I’m very like this article because this is a very serious issue which I should think about. This article said a good advertising must start with consumer understanding and know what the customer need. Its right I think customer don’t need magnificent advertising however they need useful living goods. On the other hand like article said advertising is art and art is many things, but one thing that art shouldn’t be is boring. So if advertising barely has a pulse, maybe it’s time to let it redline. Finally I think good product advertising should including clear product introduce and method of applications. Then explain to customer where can buy and how much is it. I believe that is best way that suit for all customers, although those are quite easy.

Thanks jiaLe, this is a very good article. Form this article I learned a lots about how to make a good advertising. I’m very like you explain. It’s true that advertisement is part of life and we can see it anywhere. Some of advertising is a good tool may help people know the product. However some of advertising are not. For example I know one advertisement which is sell soap product. This advertising’s length is about 30 second. However during this 30 second they didn’t include any product introduces didn’t have any product background. Therefore I think that is an ineffective advertising. Because like you said a good advertising should make customer understand. On the other hand a good advertising also could help company sell more products and then make profit.

I have agreed with my other two peers’ opinions. There is no denying that a good advertising strategy makes people want to buy the products even sometimes the products are just common. As we know in our daily life, advertisements are evitable, when we go shopping, we see lots of advertisements in the supermarket, when we wait for the bus at the stop, there are plenty of advertisements, and when we watch TV, advertisements are there as well, so basically these are the tools used by the producers to attract more consumers. However, advertising effectively sometimes still remains a problem at the moment, we need advertisements in our life, but some of them are not appropriately designed or displayed, by doing like that, consumers even get confused about what they are going to buy on earth. So after reading the article, I am aware that some business are successful, because they have great impact on advertisement, it is important for the business marketing operation.

On the other hand a lot of internet marketers are applying still seeing a good way could improve web marketing. Therefore, here are a few good direct marketing practices you could adopt as well as use on web business.

Firstly, the core point is marketers should give an engaging title to product. Because titles are very important as this can be the factor that may attract customer attentions. So a good name of the product is very helpful to introducing product. Secondly, minimize the pictures. Nowadays most of people very rely on product quality. They are not very focus on the product pictures. So message needs to be written definitely in word and don’t embed it in to the image. Thirdly, make sure the web page link is evident. I had a bad experience in this part. Last years I bought sunglass in one website, after I read all the product details I decided to pay by credit card. Hi Sheenal, interesting article to read and I quite like the point you provided. This article talks about direct marketing practices for online business. I think company needs to note that consumers do not want to receive junk mails or unwanted messages about advertisements. Therefore, as companies, what they can do is to look into the consumer’s preferences and habits, and think about what kind of information consumers want to get. Then to make some changes to meet the consumers’ needs. Thank you for sharing a very interesting article.

After I read this article, I’m really like one of sentence in this article. ‘Social media is a complex mix of communication. When you talk on social media, you’re not talking one of person, you’re talking to a complex audience’ I’m almost lost in this felling because I had some experience about my past job. I worked for an after sales service company. My job was communication with customer every day. In the past year, I learned a lots form my job. Therefore I read this article I’m agreed they said and I think is very useful. This article teach me 3 skills can improve my communication skills and to be a successful social media manager.

 

Firstly, social media foremost requires people skills. It is because social media management requires real- worlds people skills. A good social media manager can know the person personality by a short conversation. 

Secondly, a social media manager must know who their audience is, and then be fluent in the language the target audience is speaking, whatever age (or background) they are.

Thirdly, a social media manager needs to be: creative and resourceful, adventurous, humorous and a multitasked and flexible. If you have people skills, can speak to different generations, and can create with confidence as the situation demands, you have a great foundation for being a social media manager.

I totally agree with you opinion about social media is not much different between society. You have said that social media is for young generation but i think lot of people from age 40 to 60 are using social media as well. i think that you have a good points of the managers have to be creative and resourceful , humorous and flexible to be successful social media manager.

I think social media is really a complex mix of communication. It requires a lot of skills for those people who want to leaders of social media. And there are some tips provided to help people to understand this point and i think this is very helpful. In this current sales marketing there are various other ecommerce retailers who are also competing for the same traffic. I know most of ecommerce retailers are trying many new ways and strategies to boost sales of their business; however social media marketing is very limited, although that is the best way to introduce products. So after I read this article I learned 5 different social media marketing strategies may help lots.

Firstly, allow customers to share and pin your products, it means help customer improve their engagement. For example may use Facebook, twitter and so on. Those are very easy way to communicate with customers. Secondly, use social buttons to boost exposure of your communities. By this way could encourage readers to share articles, there are many blogs that are using social sharing buttons displaying importantly. Thirdly, otherwise could use images and videos even info graphics to building trust of customers, then will always in your customers’ mind whenever they decide to purchase. Last thing is make sure to post content on communities on regular basis. For example ‘apple’ company, they always following those steps to introduce apple products. They are not only post new products or new promotions on Facebook, but also they try using lots of media ways to target customers.

It also talks about the 5 different social media marketing strategies that can work for ecommerce business. I’m very like you gave the example; honestly apple products always have thorough advertising. For example they usually post new promotions on the Facebook as you said. I just want to comment a little point is Apple Company is an international company they don’t have many competitor and they have full cash flow could Support Company to do all of products introduce. So apple products are easy to make all the people accept.

The goal of any business is to create new customer and the first step is to let customer know you product, so at this time social media is very important in this part. Good social media managers very clear that customer is unique. If company want to create new media across all market. They need to quite know what’s they are target customer and how to build brand and product awareness. I choose this article the main reason is because this is talk about 10 ways to convince anyone about social media marketing. Base on those 10 ways i would like to say some my own ideas about first of two pionts.

 

Firstly, social media is where your customers are. It is true that nowadays everyone using Facebook, YouTube, mobile apps and so on. This is every good platform to advertising company product.  

Secondly, social media levels the playing field. Most of products are almost same in this model market; therefore it is harder to creative new media. That just means you may have to be more creative and work harder to reach the same audiences.

Social media are using every day and anywhere, if we are taking bus could see the advertising post on the wall. We are using mobiles, Facebook, magazines and so on. To sum up social media is working anything. On the other hand as JiaLe you said, because social media setting anywhere so this is a good way to introduce products and its good advertising.
