Often marketers can be very succinct in their thinking about direct marketing, however this article gives a look into some fresh ideas for direct marketing. These steps are precise and direct for success in marketing. Among the steps, i think the most important thing for successful marketing communication mix is analyzing target market and create own key message

Social media is a heavily relied on source of anything nowadays and so it makes sense that businesses maintain a social media forum for their brands. The use of social media makes it far more easier to communicate with consumers, as well as maintaining their feedback and engaging customers. This article well explained the importance of integration to current business communication. The power of integration is important for each business to engage customers. I agree with James's opinion that consumers decision is not really affected by brand's advertisement. They are no longer trusted in advertising on TV or sns however their purchase decisions are more dependent on other people's recommendation. Therefore marketer should use integrated strategy effectively.

Today, consumers have the upper hand in terms of purchase decisions, as they are relying more on the experiences and recommendations of others, rather than the marketing from businesses. Therefore, as the article states, businesses use a more integrated approach. Businesses are using multi-channel marketing, however to ensure consistency, integration is crucial. Integration creates more opportunities for marketers.
