London, United Kingdom - Club 15CC has announced the next version of the professional audio production and performance tool, Sound Wand MIDI was released to the Apple App Store today and includes many improvements and new features to allow even more sophisticated and intuitive control of digital instruments of all kinds.

Jaymie Banti's insight:

This is insanely impressive technology. With this app created for iOS, you can control features of midi instruments with literally a flick of the wrist. MIDI technology truly has no limits. After viewing the demonstration of this app, it makes me want to go try it out for myself. You can use the space in front of you and movements of your hand to transform the way your instrument sounds.

I added this because I actually think this is pretty cool, and it just goes to show you how technology is progressing especially with music. Similar to the Leap motion this new app uses samples or instruments within your computer or iphone  to make music or a series of musical notes.

This web-site was credible. Being one of New York's biggest music sound and music community. This is great for portable recording if you use a pedalboard. This is portable but can be costly. It also connects via bluetooth and works a couple feet away. This is a great feature for traveling recording studios. It works with all softwares as well. It brings comfort and ease to traveling and recording.

Today music software and hardware company Arturia revealed its new KeyLab range of professional-grade MIDI keyboard controllers with all-new accompanying Analog Lab synthesizer software at the Musikmesse in Frankfurt, Germany.

Jaymie Banti's insight:

It is very cool to see all the new technologies that are coming out for MIDI. The products that were announced here look to be very professional grade and packed full of features. If I were to use this technology, it would really take my production to a new level. The amount of features packed into this MIDI board is truly astonishing. Hopefully the boards featured here are affordable.

Initial Post Information:

MIDI is a technology used by many that digitally records data about what the sound should be. When the data is read, it can be played back through any instrument that is selected and supports MIDI play back.

Pros:  MIDI is an affordable technology and very easy to use. It has many features and the possibilities when using MIDI are, for the most part, limitless.

Cons: MIDI instruments will most of the time sound computerized. You can use MIDI to recreate the real instrument, but you don't get as clean and natural of a sound.
