Go Social Studies Go could be an excellent resource for some practitioners and their learners.
The site is divided into three main sections;

   - U.S. History,

   - World History, and

   - World Religions
Learners can access text, comparable with many existing textbooks, along with multimedia elements for the topics they're reading about.
For some learners, Go Social Studies Go can offer a nice refresher on many topics pre-face-2-face sessions and/or when revising.
