High-Low Tech – Programming an ATtiny w/ Arduino 1.0

High-Low Tech – Programming an ATtiny w/ Arduino 1.0 | Michael Schipper Arduino | Scoop.it
Michael Schipper's insight:

This gives some good information on codeing arduino.  The arduino is ATiny but it still works the same way for the most part.  This is great because it allows for easier communication between two arduino.  The ATiny is good for small projects.  Over all this tutorial is a good one to figure out some commands for the code.

Michael Schipper's insight:

This is just another one of the examples of the creative things you can build.  The arduino allow s for some pretty interesting but crazy things.  You can build some really cool things from the arduino. This is just the beginning.  you can build almost everything with this.  just be original that is always better.

Announcing the Arno Kit, an Arduino-compatible "Beginner Kit on a Board" | Michael Schipper Arduino | Scoop.it
Kevin and Peter Gould from Olympia Circuits started selling their own Arduino-compatible LeOlympia development boards at the various Maker Faires. In the course of demoing and talking to people the...
Michael Schipper's insight:

This page might not have a ton of information but it does have some great information on the Arduino.  This page might be talking about another board it does have some Arduino functions which makes it a cheap inexpensive beginner's playground for learning the capabilities of the arduino.  Plus you don't have to spend 50 dollars for a basic Arduino with out any sheild.  This as the article states gets beginners over the "hump" of the Arduino.  This is good because it is hard to go directly to the Arduino and begin working on cool projects.

hacktronics is your source for Arduino, Arduino Shields, Arduino sensors, and Arduino Kits
Michael Schipper's insight:

This website is a great example of the code that the arduino uses.  This also shows how to make and code a device that measures volts, amps, watts, hurts, and more!  This device is good for measuring the electircity that an off grid device needs. The project is very useful when it comes to making some kind of independant electricity measuring tool.  This project is a great project for a intermediate skill level at using the arduino.

Michael Schipper's insight:

This shows A good project for the arduino.  It uses a add-on called the sheild.  this sheild allows the arduino to acess the internet.  You can also program it to text you if your coffee is done.  This project is good for getting used to programing with the internet.  This is good to challenge your skills with the arduino.

Michael Schipper's insight:

This webpage is a good way to learn how to use the arduino directly.  This is for the Arduino only not the Arno board.  This goes over where to learn how to use it physical computing power and where to learn its codeing.  It also is great for what componants to buy to get the most out of it.  This webpage is great for learning where to learn and where to go for help.

Arduino - Introduction

Michael Schipper's insight:

I think the arduino is a very verctile tool for the new generation of makers out there.  This might put more artists, engineers, and scientists out there which most of us know there mustbe more because of new jobs being created and jobs not created yet.  The arduino is putting new life into the jobs of scientists and engineers.
