Case Study: Joint Replacement | Extending Independent Living with Surgery in Mexico

Case Study: Joint Replacement | Extending Independent Living with Surgery in Mexico | The Joy of Mexico | Scoop.it

Waiting for surgery is pretty standard in Canada where Harriet lived. The estimated wait time for a knee replacement was ten months, nearly a year. For everyone, the wait is annoying, but for Harriet it was a serious problem. Harriet provided the care for her disabled husband who was nearly helpless without her. Dinosaur tail found in Mexico

Dinosaur tail found in Mexico | The Joy of Mexico | Scoop.it

Paleontologists discover 50 vertebrae of hadrosaur along with hip bone and other remains in Coahuila state.

Dinosaur remains have been found in many parts of the state of Coahuila, in addition to Mexico's other northern desert states.

... during the Cretaceous period, which ended about 65m years ago, much of what is now central northern Mexico was on the coast. This has enabled researchers to unearth remains of both marine and land-based dinosaurs.
