March Against #Monsanto or March For Man? #GMO #health #cancer #Bayer #BASF former nazi #IGFarben | Messenger for mother Earth | Scoop.it

Yesterday, on March 24th 2014, hundreds of thousands of human beings took to the streets in over 400 cities of 52 countries on 6 continents (according to MAM’s press release), proving yet again that no one cares about GMOs and/or that sarcasm still has a place in the aftermath of uber successful activism.

My comment at the bottom of this article, "Thanks to everyone who helped organize the MAM events, that attended and marched, that advocates for no GMOs, insists on labeling at the very least, refuses to support Monsanto and any other GMO producing company AND will not eat anything that might be GMO thus supporting the agrimonsters. THANK YOU". You can also visit, http://www.facebook.com/GlobalFoodrEvolution.

How can we avoid it if the companies that produce it refuse to label it?

An award for corporate America brought to you by corporate America. And who do you think the winners were:

Archer Daniels Midland, John Deere, Cargill and Monsanto

Doesn't that seem strange? Unless one understands that these corporations have our elected officials in their pockets, on a string like puppets or a leash like a dog. Heal, Fido. Turn over. Sit. Good Fido.

CineversityTV's insight:

Fascist Monsanto CEO Hugh Grant told Bloomberg that genetically modified foods are good for poor people who can’t afford organic. “As long as you’ve got money in your back pocket and you drive your station wagon to the supermarket on weekends,” he says, “then it’s out of sight out of mind, so far.” “It” refers to starvation and malnutrition, which afflict large numbers of people in developing nations (and in the US, too). Monsanto believes its technological advances increase the likelihood of a world where fewer go hungry. Remember Hitler on telling lies?!

#Monsanto vs Farmers

In 1996, Monsanto introduced its first GMO seeds. It ensured that farmers could not save the seeds and essentially loose the ownership of their seeds. Consequently, the power balance shifted away from the farmers to corporations who now own 80 percent of GM corn and 93 percent of the GM soy market.
Now farmers not only have to buy the seeds from the corporations year after year, but they are also forced to comply with the rules and regulations embedded in the contracts, which are designed to put the farmers at a juridical disadvantage.
Since they have been wrongly accused, Dave Runyon, Troy Roush and Moe Parr have traveled the world speaking out publicly about Monsanto's reckless business policies.

Monsanto's behavior is disgraceful, unconscionable, unethical, immoral and legal! Their poisonous herbicides work in tandem with their patented GMO seeds.

Why do the food giants say nothing is wrong with GMOs? Yet they spend millions fighting a bill that would requiring labelling on food. Something is wrong with this picture.

Over $30M spent last year on lobbying to keep GMOs hidden in foods

(NaturalNews) Guess who spends the most money lobbying on agricultural lobbying? If you answered, "Monsanto," you're correct. Most of their efforts, of course, are focused on lobbying for GMOs -- to keep them legal and keep them hidden in foods.

This will change only when the power in the hands of the public becomes greater than the pull the corporations have on our elected officials. Who do our elected officials represent? Us, the common people or the huge corporations? If you said the latter, you are correct.
CineversityTV's comment, July 3, 2013 8:11 AM
only huge corporations will benefit, the people will get sick. Goofd for big pharma.
Dane Austin's curator insight, March 10, 2014 11:48 AM

I think it is a really bad idea to keep GMOs hidden because the people really need to know what they are consuming.
