Michael Labuschagne Chapter 10 Defence of the accused: The Mentally ill are more prone to do violence because they have been associated with it more. Since the mentally ill is more acceptable to not being able to understand what is reality and how people will get punished, they see violence as a way to solve things. They need to have a stronger and perhaps individual rating in the justice system for their acts.
