You are likely benefitting from The Internet of Things (IoT) today, whether or not you’re familiar with the term. If your phone automatically connects to your car radio, or if you have a smartwatch counting your steps, congratulations! You have adopted one small piece of a very large IoT pie, even if you haven't adopted the name yet.
IoT may sound like a business buzzword, but in reality, it’s a real technological revolution that will impact everything we do. It's the next IT Tsunami of new possibility that is destined to change the face of technology, as we know it. It will turn your smartphone into the command center for the both digital and physical objects in your life. You will live and work smarter, not harder – and what we are seeing now is only the tip of the iceberg.

I have been asked this question for a few years now...I am on Linked IN, but how do I leverage it to grow my business.  I thought there were some good ideas in this chart.  Each of these ideas is a "door opener" to reach out to one of contacts.  

 

My one caveat is the assumption you know all the contacts in your network in some capacity.  By the way, I subscribe to having people in your network that you can identify with in some capacity.  There is a bunch of debate on this topic, but I always look at one key factor: Would this person respond to me if I sent them an email, gave them a call, etc.?  If not....then they are just a name in your contact list...much like the stack of business cards you may have hidden in your desk.
