This article is give us four ideas of been  learnt more productive as a team from other culture. Ask questions is good and to be encouraged  to do it. And trust people can learn whether where they belong to the   Culture, investing people to learn. Other idea is that creating the opportunity  to help the team to learn, and able to get feedback from people very fast and efficiently. The process of getting data includes running experiences, getting data, getting feedback and tackling the problems. I've been making my meals on the weekends for awhile and it really helps.  What I also find helpful is making my lunch for the next day as I get done with dinner.  I'm full at the time that I am making it so I don't overload it.  I found when I did it in the morning, that I would be so hungry, that I'd pack too much for my lunch.  I definitely want to incorporate #8  and 9 though.  I SOOO need this!

Explore what YOU love, and own it. – If you spend your life trying to define yourself by what someone else loves, you’re going to be miserable. 


Try things – try everything.  Explore.  See what makes you hear music inside and what makes your heart swell, and then go do it.  Find out everything you can about it. 


Find other people who love it too.  If you waste time pretending to like something just because other people you think are “cool” like it, you’re going to end up with the wrong people and circumstances in your life.  Love what you love and be yourself, and you will end up with a lifestyle and relationships that make you truly happy

We can all incorporate idealized influence, inspirational motivation, intellectual stimulation, and individualized consideration into our commands if we take deliberate steps to do so.  We can all be like my former Sergeant Major or my first Commander if we ask ourselves the following:


What can I do to provide a vision, a sense of mission, and instill pride in my organization?


What can I do to inspire and motivate my organization?


What can I do to foster a command climate that stimulates intellectual growth in my organization?


What can I do to help my subordinates develop to their full potential?


We do not have to walk away from our commands feeling like we just pulled our hands out of a bucket of water. A “water bucket” leader is someone whose leadership approach can be likened to sticking a hand into a bucket of water and creating a stir by splashing it around. Eventually, the leader pulls their hand out, and when they do, the water quickly returns to it’s original state. It’s as if they never existed. Can we anticipate unexpected events? Yes, but we cannot anticipate what they will be. What we can do is work on being present and attentive. The laziness is interesting. Do we use statistics without looking at what they mean in a given context. The lesson Washington’s profoundly positive example teaches is that leading people well isn’t about driving them, directing them, or coercing them; it is about compelling them to join you in pushing into new territory. It is motivating them to share your enthusiasm for pursuing a shared ideal, objective, cause, or mission. This creates buy-in at all levels which is critical. They identify stakeholders and place the responsibility on them for rolling out new processes. Change doesn’t have to be stressful. Face it head on and keep the company moving forward.

My experience of many in leadership roles has been of individuals who wish to be seen as perfect, in control and  not in need of help or advice, even when this is  blatantly untrue. This article explains the  positive effect of allowing yourself to be seen as human. In the NHS many criticise the softer side of management &  see it as poor leadership. To me, this is the leadership we need to encourage if we are to grow into  forward thinking, unified organisatiions.  This article validates the need to see leadership as a  more iemotionally intelligent role
