Shirley Sanservino's insight:

An alarming story about a doctor whose five wives had illness and same symptoms; headache, nausea, body aches...two suddenly died of unusual circumstances.

Sounds like the same set of circumstances of another sudden, unusual, unattended death; that of Raymond Marc Zachry that is chronicled in a web page, http://www.denied-justice.com

Raymond Zachry had severe headache, muscle aches and vertigo, he was treated for a sinus infection prior to being discovered unresponsive by a nieghbor.  The toxicology reports were positive for poison.  Why no investigation?

A question of homicide: Rulings by medical examiners raise doubts about protocols

A question of homicide: Rulings by medical examiners raise doubts about protocols | Medical Examiner and Coroner qualifications and oversight | Scoop.it

The agency chief defends the work of her accredited office, but experts say Jackson County’s practices create a system more likely to make mistakes. And the practices can leave killers on the street and allow evidence to be lost

Every medical examiner and coroner’s office makes mistakes, experts say, but it’s hard to know how many because most errors are buried along with the victims.

“If the medical examiner could miss a case with that many red flags, what else could the medical examiner’s office be missing that isn’t as obvious?”

It’s important for forensic pathologists to get rulings right, experts say.

Shirley Sanservino's insight:

There are many cases documented by families where another look at the evidence could make or break  case for homicide.  However coroners and medical examiners make their own rules and no one has the power or ability to challenge them even when it is a life and death situation.

LYNN HAVEN — The city of Lynn Haven has first rights to about 150 acres of bay-front property after a City Commission vote Thursday morning

"Tyndall Development Partners, a subsidiary of the military base contractor Hunt Inc., offered to build a $3 million military construction project elsewhere in exchange for the property. But before the agreement was finalized, a law allowing the Air Force to trade land for the equivalent value in military construction expired in 2010."

Voters opted for a clean slate in the troubled St. Tammany Parish coroner’s office, rejecting Peter Galvan’s deputy in the runoff, and instead electing retired Dr. Charles Preston to fill the post.

Finally Free!

On April 30, 2014 Reno finally walked out of prison as a free man. Legal experts agree, "this is an extremely rare case. Reno should have spent his dying years behind bars. He was convicted and sentenced to life, without parole

"There was no evidence - no witnesses, no DNA - nothing. According to records, "Mr. Turner (Reno's prosecutor) was fired from his position as assistant district attorney shortly after Reno’s conviction for using underhanded tactics and threatening defendants who refused to plead guilty." The lack of evidence and tactics used to convict Reno should make any justice driven person cringe.
