The point here is, promotional material could exist, just don't tell us lies, companies: if you are giving us "bull sales marketing selling something", tell us. Like: "Here you will only find promotional material. For us is still worthy and we hope it is for you. If you want to get Real Content and Only Information, then click here"... leading us to a real, original piece of information. Anyway, Xyeye, as a journalist I receive loats of such materials that claim to be the requested description from which I should take the article so I know the sensation...

Amazon launches Storyteller to turn scripts into storyboards -- automagically

Amazon launches Storyteller to turn scripts into storyboards -- automagically | Mediaclub | Scoop.it

Excerpt from review article by VentureBeat:
"Upload your script, choose some backgrounds, and magically created a professional-looking storyboard of your movie. Or the graphic novel version of your text-based anything.

Amazon Studios released Storyteller today to allow writers and filmmakers to quickly, easily — and cheaply — storyboard their scripts.

Roy Price, Amazon’s director of Studios said: “Storyteller provides a digital backlot, acting troupe, prop department, and assistant editor — everything you need to bring your story to life.”

You start by uploading a script to Amazon Studios — or by playing with one that’s already there. Then simply page through the script paragraph by paragraph. Storyteller will try to match up characters, props, and background with the words in each chunk of text, and it does a surprisingly good job.

But if you don’t like what Storyteller gives, you can choose from its library, or even upload your own custom background or characters. Currently, the software has a library of thousands of props, characters, and backgrounds..."

wanderingsalsero's curator insight, May 31, 10:03 PM

I'm going to try this.  I like the look of picking my tags from that tag cloud over on the right of the page.  Having to manually type them in, in the Draffo bookmarket that I've been using, is a drag (although I like everything else about Draggoo).

It's going to be interesting to see if THIS one is any more practical in the long term as a bookmarker.

Many good ideas can be found here regarding what we need to teach students about curating digital content for learning.  The importance of story - and to really look at something (or read it!).  The importance of asking quesitons and seeking answers before adding it to your curated collection to determine if it is a good fit. There are many parallels to the world of digital curation.

Scoopit and Content Marketing Analysis

Analysis of two years of Scoopit use to curate and create content marketing.

Via Martin (Marty) Smith
Brian Yanish - MarketingHits.com's curator insight, May 5, 8:46 AM

Thanks Marty for sharing.

SHARING is a key part of this web social economy we are living in right now. It started with content, (message boards, blogs) and now has moved on to cars (Zipcar), bikes (Citi Bike) and beds (AirBnB).

We are becoming more connected than ever before and OUR online profiles, that WE and OTHERS create about US is driving this sharing economy.

Marty, I know you and I have never met in person but via Scoop.it and social sharing we are connected. Interesting how business is changing.

Martin (Marty) Smith's comment, May 5, 7:29 PM
Agree Brian. When SHARING is at the core many things change such as: competition, how we scale, how we make money and how and what we support.

In a social sharing time we compete in a more collaborative way where rising tides lift all boats. I was shocked to be in a meeting the other day where someone was pithing the idea of unilateral zero sum benefit. Shocked because everyone I work with get it - that doing the right thing is increasingly the right thing to do. I wasn't going to convince this particular manager that WE are stronger than I or ME, but most of us are getting it and that is one of the things driving Scoop.it's success :).M
