Slimmer werken/leren in (online) communities

Slimmer werken/leren in (online) communities | Media Literacy | Scoop.it

"Vroeger.

Building Good Search Skills: What Students Need to Know | MindShift | Media Literacy | Scoop.it

"When we don’t teach students how to manage their online research effectively, we create a self-perpetuating cycle of poor-quality results. To break that cycle, educators can engage students in an ongoing conversation about how to carry out excellent research online. In the long term, students with stronger critical thinking skills will be more effective at school, and in their lives."

In deze blog (US) is duidelijk beschreven

Digital Divide: If You're Reading This, You're One of the Lucky Ones [INFOGRAPHIC]

Digital Divide: If You're Reading This, You're One of the Lucky Ones [INFOGRAPHIC] | Media Literacy | Scoop.it

Even in the richest countries such as the United States, there's a digital divide where not everyone has easy access to the Internet. (via Mashable)

Howard Rheingold’s World of Infotention | Powerful Learning Practice

Howard Rheingold’s World of Infotention | Powerful Learning Practice | Media Literacy | Scoop.it

... if we’re going to help our students develop the focus they need to think deeply about things — to acquire Howard Rheingold’s Infotention — then I think most schools will need some ground rules, made in collaboration with students after lots of conversations around these important topics.

A. Make your own rules of student Netiquette.

-

-

B. Teach and discuss how to focus in the age of distraction.

-

-

C: Teach and discuss how to find reliable information online.
