It's important to follow this story to see who Dix decides to sell to. There is too much consolidation of ownership in the media industry, so every time I see a newspaper or broadcast license being sold, I worry. Americana can't have a free press if all the "presses" are owned by a small oligarchy of corporate interests.

Over the years, I have learned that you do not need to join the latest and greatest shiny new toy to succeed online. I think that the Millennial-technology connection is over-hyped, but nevertheless, this is an interesting article on the 6 social platforms that are supposedly good for capturing their attention. (I don't disagree that Millennials are "native digitals" but I argue there's  far more to  connecting with them that this single aspect of communication.
