Seems like a pretty fantastic initial reaction. Acting gets the best props, but, from the outset, critics think it's unorganized. Not surprised. Tough material.

It turns out there are subtle ways that Hollywood has been enforcing wrongheaded ideas right under our noses, and sometimes in our favorite films.

 

Although I think a lot of these stereotypes are no longer prevalent in film, the article still makes a great point in that sometimes depiction of different ethnicities and cultures is severely flawed.
