Actor-director Ben Stiller has wrapped up filming of his remake of The Secret Life of Walter Mitty and left Iceland. Stiller tweeted: “Last day of the shoot. Iceland is an incredible place. Going to miss it here.”
Stiller spent five weeks in the country in what is reported to be the most extensive foreign film project in Iceland this year. According to ruv.is, 250 Icelanders worked on the project, which was filmed at seven locations around the country.
Thor: The Dark World will shoot Iceland later this month at various locations one of which is rumoured to be Svarthofdi.
