The basics of exercising. I guess I should probably get a good handle on this before I move on. This helps me to understand concepts such as sets vs. reps. I also learned that I should get exercise dvds, which are the only exercise equipment that I am missing. I should also use my treadmill for at least 30 minutes a day.

Wouldn't it be wonderful to be able to afford all of that fancy equipment used in the gyms? Well, as nice as it sounds, it just isn't an option for most

Because I won't be renewing my gym membership until this summer, all of the exercising I will be doing will take place at home. I can always go for a walk, run, or do jumping jacks to improve my cardiovascular fitness. I could do crunches, leg lifts, and situps to increase my muscular endurance and strength. I have a lot of options, despite a lack of expensive equipment.

While some of these tips don't apply to me, (I don't own car keys) I will use the ones that do to make myself a less stressed person. For example, I can turn out the light as soon as im sleepy. This will help me be more rested and feel better. I can even take a few minutes before I go to bed to clean my room. When I wake up, I can make my bed. This all works towards the goal of making my environment tidy.

The bicycle exercise, leg raise, exercise ball crunch, vertical leg crunch, torso track, long arm crunch, reverse crunch, crunch with heel push, ab roller, and plank exercise are all recommended for exercising abdominal muscles. Currently I only use planks, the exercise ball crunch, bicycle, and normal crunches. I will be sure to work some of these new exercises into my routine in the hope of improving my muscular strength and endurance.

I can improve my cardiovascular fitness through more than just running. From cross-country skiing to jump rope, I have a variety of options at my disposal. Because I don't own skiis, my best bets are running, walking, cycling, hiking, elliptical training, and jump rope. Until it gets warmer out, I have a feeling that I'll be getting a lot of use out of my elliptical and treadmill!

Although my goals have little to do with eating, If i can eat right and thus gain more muscle, it is likely that I will see an increase in muscular endurance. I have learned that I definitely need to start eating more greek yogurt, which is abundant throughout my house. Whenever i can, I will also make myself eggs for breakfast. I will eat nuts and dried berries with my lunch. In short, I need more protein!

Triceps are just as important as biceps. I should use tricep dips, lying tricep extensions, single arm pullover, and the tricep pushup. These are all easy to do, and I don't need to buy any extra equipment. I will begin working these exercises into mu existing routine.
