You can see many big-name cruise lines teaming up with chefs recently in order to give customers the ability to experience 5 star dining during their vacation for a fraction of the price. Examples are carnival with Guy Fieri, NCL with Zakarian, and Royal Caribbean with Michael Schwartz. Having personally dined at Schwartz' restaurant here in Wynwood, a $25 a person tab is absolutely incredible. I would do it in a heartbeat, and it could be a deciding factor in me choosing one cruise over another.

Foodie centric cruises sound like a great idea and certainly something I would consider doing but I do have some "reservations" in regard to the subject. Cooking classes require some level of intimacy and attention which is somewhat difficult to muster on a megaship. If logistics are well planned the concept does have appeal. The culinary field has many facets and if planned accordingly a foodie centric cruise could complement the culinary attributes pertaining to food history, culture, and the regional availability of ingredients.

This is so true I meals in ships are so wondeful and lavish one needs to have also good chefs.

Millennials generation and life-work balance

Millennials generation and life-work balance | Mastering Work Life Balance | Scoop.it

life-work balance. Your millennials are used to cramming their lives with multiple activities. They may play on sports teams, walk for multiple causes, spend time as fans at company sports leagues, and spend lots of time with family and friends. They work hard, but they are not into the sixty hour work weeks defined by the Baby Boomers. Home, family, spending time with the children and families, are priorities. Don’t lose sight of this. Balance and multiple activities are important to these millennial employees. Ignore this to your peril.
