I personally think VIDEO advertising and the convergence between TV/Web will now change search forever as we knew it. http://www.infogurushop.com Even Mobile search will change and become more 'interactive' at the touch, shake, voice or wipe of a screen or button. Delete the scoop?

The article presents good insight to how businesses should deligate spendings on social media. Social media is the new highway for companies to market to brands, but for some businesses it may not feasable due to the products they are trying to market. The author presents good points and I agree with his points on organising online marketing. The narrative - story to market, development - developing the right message for the consumer, interaction - communicating with consumers and planning - looking at trends. The points were thought provoking on the whole process.

The article givens a strong insight into how a business should address marketing in social media. With social media being an ever growing industry it is a good way for businesses to connect with its consumers. Its address the fact that a strategy is needed and you can’t just put stuff online without thinking. I think it’s a good article with an interesting point of view.

Actually Brian, Matt Cutts recently stated in a video on Youtube that Google does takes social signals into heavy consideration when evaluating the worth of our content. In fact he stated they always have. I just watched the video about 3 weeks ago. In another video Matt Cutts even stated they are more concerned with identifying what people like or dislike, which is why they created the +1 button. When you +1 something on the web, you are recommending it to anyone in your Google+ circles, both on G+ and organic search. And, the +1 button also helps Google to gage the overall importance of an author and content online. Many links themselves are also coming from social networks, and all links on Google+ are "dofollow". Dont believe me? Go to your webmaster tools account check the links pointing to your site, Google+ links are weighted like any others. Also, they are crawled by Bing as well, and Bing does count backlinks from G+. So your assertions I'm afraid are not accurate.

Social Dominance & New SEO This is especially true in the case of "social search" or Facebook's new "graph search" that moves technical SEO to the backseat as social search drives the car.
