The number of printed books at the library decreased by 11 to 41,729, but 2,408 new printed books were added during 2013. The number of electronic books, or e-books, increased by more than 12,000 to 65,673.

The library also saw an increase of more than 10,000 in electronic audio materials and 500 video materials to 20,700 and 2,510 respectively.

Patrons only need a library card to get started, and all content is free of charge. It’s also digital, so there is no waiting period for popular titles, and hoopla’s automatic return means no late fees.”
