This article hits on topics covered in my past that I have become more aware about. Advertising is always more successful the more platforms it reaches out to. Nike, being one of the biggest names today, takes advantage of all mediums and social platforms in the media. Social networks alone are taking over the journalism world and we need to be familiar with them. Advertising is one of the many things that can be done though the media and these platforms.

Somewhere around 2009, neuromarketing arrived in the public conscious with a tidal wave of enthusiasm.

"I agree that while consumer neuroscience should refer to the application of neuroscientific methods for peer-reviewed academic research into consumer behaviour, neuromarketing should refer to the application of theory and findings from consumer neuroscience in corporate managerial practice."


There are some really relevant statements in this article regarding consumer behaviour and new ways of understanding what influences consumers.
