This article explains the mindset a business owner should have when marketing through social media platforms. I completely agree with this article's insight to spread the word of your company's social media presences, because that is what ultimately increases your follower base. The more people you connect with, the more attention your company receives, plain and simple. Some good ideas would be passing out flyers with links on them in highly populated areas, or commenting on online discussions with links somewhere included as well. More importantly, try to connect with people who actually fall under your target audience. Also, examining your competitors is crucial. Find out what works for them and come up with your own way to incorporate it in your own marketing tactics. Whatever doesn't work for them, be sure to avoid. When it comes to social media marketing, be patient. It takes time for sites to catch on, but continue to do what you need to, to slowly build followership.
