The U.S. Postal Service wasted no time in requesting a postal rate hike. On Thursday, USPS filed a notice with the Postal Regulatory Commission for a nearly 2 percent increase to take place on April 26. The timing for the inflation-based increase appears to coincide with the expiration of its exigent rate increase, which the PRC says USPS needs to stop after it brings in the $3.2 billion meant to help make up for losses during the Great Recession. The USPS is suing the PRC regarding this $3.2 billion limit.

This is a continued triple-edged sword as the personalization opens the employee, customer or prospect, and the company to potential scrutiny, invasion of privacy, and many deeper concerns. There is no easy answer... except batch and blast.
