The Modern Marketer: Infographic

The Modern Marketer: Infographic | CTE Marketing | Scoop.it
Tocquigny's curator insight, April 9, 1:08 PM

Want to be a marketer? Well, make sure you know what it truly means. To become a successful marketer it is no longer about developing a catchy ad campaign that you will shout from the roof tops. marketing has evolved into a combination of artistry and science. The modern marketer must have a strategic and analytical mind dedicated to measurable metrics but that is always craving a creative outlet.

Take a look at what you need to be a successful modern marketer in the infographic below. A marketer must:

  • Be a creative writer
  • Have an eye for great visual content
  • Understand the power of social media for engaging with consumers
  • Live by the rules and best practices of email marketing
  • Be Dedicated to tracking and measuring all marketing efforts
  • Enjoy using analytics tools to understand data and visualize trends
  • Be a budgeting maven
  • Never stop looking for new tools and resources to understand consumers

But, even though being a modern marketer means not thinking like the advertising minds of the Mad Men characters, it does not mean you can’t dress like them!

Success Indicator: Characteristics For A Successful Life [Infographic] | CTE Marketing | Scoop.it

Measuring success is hard. By consulting this success indicator, you will be able to tell if your personality & characteristics showcase success or failure.

Manea Murray's comment, April 3, 5:48 AM
Georgia’s comments are agreeable to my views on measuring success. The article is comparing successful versus non-successful through characteristics and personality of people. Reading the Success Indicator makes a point that a person is able to gauge his or her own success through how they behave and what lifestyle choices they want to make. It is important to understand that only the individuals can measure success for themselves.
ShaLino's comment, April 6, 3:21 AM
I agree with both of Georgia's and Manea's comments about measuring success. Success is very important in life as well as having the characteristics and mentality of a person wanting to go far. Although this article had agreeable points, more discussion needs to be explored I think. Also, success comes from goals set by a person. Until that person is satisfied and fulfilled by their goals then one can maybe say or feel successful. It is true that success is not measured by popularity or how much money you have.
Ishika Nair's curator insight, April 9, 5:46 AM

I think this article is relating with successfaul and non successful by showing the appearances. As shown on the article success is not only be achieved in bussiness or bbby becoming famous. The success indicator merely measures the success within your own lifestyle. This also means people measures success in many different ways and on many different levels when serring goals in life, its important that we indentify what success means to us personally, so that when we succedd we will know it.

Six interesting examples of gamification in ecommerce

Six interesting examples of gamification in ecommerce | CTE Marketing | Scoop.it

The video game industry is worth more than $100bn worldwide, so it's no surprise that businesses are using gamification to try to boost sales.

The idea is that by adding gaming elements to the sales process, such as small challenges and rewards, you can increase customer loyalty and advocacy.

As in every game or competition, the participants have to be motivated by a worthwhile reward. It’s also true that the greater the reward, the more you can ask people to do to earn the reward.
