This is the image of Titania, queen of the fairies. titania is the fairy featured in the center of the painting because she is the most important fairy. she is much larger than the rest of the fairies to represent how much power she has. all the tiny fairies are around titania to emphasis her location in the center of what is going on in the fairy world.

This article criticizes the theme of love used in "a midsummer night's dream". The overall theme of the play is believed to be that true love will always win, but throughout the entire play Shakespeare shows how love is replaced by obsession and passion. The love is seen as fake by the audience because the fairies could create it whenever they wanted between any two people. This play makes people question whether true love actually exists anther her the idea of two people being made for each other was possible.

After reading this article I learned about the common themes that connect all of William sheakspeare's sonnets. The sonnets basically tell the story of an old poet who shares a love for a beautiful mysterious and a very young artist. These sonnet themes are used to support the ideas that sheakspeare was homosexual and the counter argument that he was heterosexual. Every sonnet that sheakspeare has written adds on to this confusing story adding scenes and events, opinions and points of view. After each sonnet a person is left with a different perspective of how sheakspeare was thinking and feeling.

This article reveals the source of Shakespeare's play title, "a midsummer nights dream". Shakespeare had chosen this title because it sounded like midsummers eve, a well known holiday of Shakespeare's time. The holiday midsummers eve was one that people associated with partying and drinking outdoors in the woods. This holiday was also a time of mystery and wonder when people would tell stories of fairies and love. The title Shakespeare chose was a very good hint to the audience of what the play was about
