Highlights how plastics are a great technology but also they are a curse. Countries are now faced with many types of plastics that are either not recyclable or biodegradable. This is leading to enormous waste problems. To counteract these problems countries are now looking for solutions to these problems such as paying for plastic bags -or even total elimination of them and using reusable bags. They are hoping that by bringing to the forefront the problems simple solutions can be found.
