A really good post which argues that it is the learning orientation that determines the pedagogical method selected for instruction. The comparision of pedagogical methods employed in two courses on Coursera reveal the clashes between the views on how people learn.

Yet another institution adopting iPads in UK.  This looks really interesting.  This is just the medical faculty, like Manchester.  I wonder if they can connect their iPadto wirelessly to the projectors?

A Mooc degree - there's a comment that its not the same as degree standard but once employers discover this route to education, who's to say that they won't select which MOOCs they would like to see prospective employees take?
