There are many things that Marc Walker of Reno considers important in his life. He is very dedicated to serving in his career as a law enforcement officer, always doing the job to the best of his ability and bringing his best to the force each day that he is in it. His family is important to him - he and his wife travel together often and are two peas in a pod. He also values fitness and participates in half marathons and endurance competitions regularly.

However, Marc Walker of Reno is also a big advocate of giving back to the community. He has worked at places such as the Adaptive Ski Program for Disabled Sports USA, the Virginia City Community Chest, and at the Northern Nevada Food Bank.

"Giving back to the community is one of the most important things that a citizen can do," Marc Walker of Reno opines. "I am a civil servant for my job and I believe that those ethics should carry through to what I do with my time when I am not on the clock. One of the best ways to do so is to get involved with the community and offer my abilities and skills to those who need them most."

There are many reasons why Marc Walker of Reno believes that volunteering is important. First of all, he loves working at the Adaptive Ski Program for Disabled Sports USA since it gives him a chance to show the joy of skiing to individuals who might not otherwise be physically able to participate without his help and guidance. This is not work for Marc Walker of Reno; rather, it is something that he wholly enjoys doing and looks forward to.

"There's nothing better than lending a helping hand to those in need," Marc Walker of Reno says. "It brightens your day, betters another person's life, and makes the community around you a better place to live and be."

Marc Walker of Reno is very active in his community. He lives in Reno, Nevada, with his wife and works as a law enforcement officer. He frequently serves his community and loves to travel in his free time.

Marc Walker of Reno Completes First Half- Marathon

Marc Walker of Reno, a fitness enthusiast, completed his first half-marathon in February of 2013.

There are many people who say that they would love to complete a marathon someday but few that actually have the dedication to follow through with the task. A marathon, or even a half-marathon, is a daunting task for most individuals, since it requires quite a bit of running and a lot of preparation and endurance. Fortunately, somebody like Marc Walker of Reno is more than set for such a task, as a former member of the US Marine Corps and an individual who works in law enforcement.

Running a half-marathon had been a dream of Marc Walker of Reno's for a very long time and he is pleased to have completed his first half-marathon on February 3, 2013 at the Surf City Marathon in Huntington Beach, California. This is a beautiful race and Marc Walker of Reno couldn't have been happier to complete his first race in such a wonderful setting.

"I don't typically like to sing my own praises, but I'm proud that I finally did it," Marc Walker of Reno admitted after completing the Surf City Marathon. "Not many people can say that they've completed a half-marathon and I'm more than thrilled to add my name to the list of individuals who have completed such a task!"

Mark Walker of Reno has been a fitness enthusiast for many years. He considers working out to be an important part of his duties as a law enforcement officer, as a healthy body is conducive to a healthy mind. He works hard to keep himself fit and the fact that he was able to complete a half-marathon in middle age is a testament to the amount of time and energy he puts into his body in order to keep himself fit and healthy.

"Everybody should give themselves the chance to do something like a half-marathon," Marc Walker of Reno advises. "It's a lot of work and time, but you feel great and you'll also feel very accomplished after you complete it! It might sound impossible, but it really isn't."

Marc Walker of Reno is a law enforcement officer who is based out of Reno, Nevada. He looks forward to participating in other half-marathons and endurance contests in the future.

Participating in Reno Tahoe Odyssey and Tough Mudder: Marc Walker of Reno

In 2013, Marc Walker of Reno is set to participate in the Reno Tahoe Odyssey and Tough Mudder endurance competitions.

For a very long time, Marc Walker of Reno has been very interested in fitness. He has spent a good deal of his life dedicated to making sure that his body stays in top condition. After all, he is a law enforcement officer with an eye toward professionalism, and that means staying in shape so that he can do his job efficiently and well.

This year, Marc Walker of Reno is thrilled to have completed his first half-marathon on February 3, 2013 at the Surf City Marathon in Huntington Beach, California. This was a major milestone for Marc Walker of Reno, but he's not interested in stopping there. This upcoming late spring and summer, Marc Walker of Reno is looking to participate in the Reno Tahoe Odyssey as well as the Tough Mudder endurance competitions.

The 9th annual Reno Tahoe Odyssey endurance race will be held on May 30th through June 1st. It is a 178-mile course run by a team of individuals that travels through Truckee, Reno, and South Lake Tahoe. In July, he will also be participating in the Tough Mudder, a 10-12 mile endurance run that has a very demanding obstacle course. It will be hosted at the Northstar Resort in Tahoe on July 31st.

"I love participating in team-oriented fitness events," Marc Walker was quoted as saying when asked about his interest in these endurance tests. "Not only do they challenge you to push your body to the limits, but they also make you rely on and support your teammates through the race. It's a fantastic feeling to be part of a group of dedicated individuals."

These tests of endurance will no doubt be difficult to get through, but Marc Walker of Reno is confident that he and his team will do very well in both races. "We might not win, but our goal is to finish strong. That's about all a team member could ask," Marc Walker of Reno says.

Marc Walker of Reno plans on participating in several of these endurance races in the upcoming years. One is not enough for an endorphin-lover like Marc Walker of Reno! These also help keep him in shape for his job in law enforcement.
