Anna Kurdowska, Ph.D., director of research and professor of cellular and molecular biology at UT Health Northeast, has been with the hospital for 24 years, working on drugs to treat lung injuries.
She’s also working on projects for arteriosclerosis and COPD (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease). She serves as a liaison for SciVal, a system that connects all UT System researchers to ensure access to equipment and other support facilities; and iLab, a general database to help researchers find collaborators, if needed, and expertise.
