Analiese Gerald's insight:
This magazine article was written in February 2007 which was fairly recent. It is very relevant as it covers the all the unique qualities of a mangrove swamp habitat. It talks of the climate, wildlife, conditions, and other characteristics also. The authority is very strong on this article since National Geographic is a very trusted magazine with skilled and talented writers.

Mangrove swamp encyclopedia article

Analiese Gerald's insight:
This article is current because it was published in 2003 and the information in the article hasn't changed since then. It is very relevant because it talks about different properties within a mangrove swamp along with the wildlife there. It is credible because the author John Korstad is experienced in this topic.

These are the tropical field pre-course presentation
outlines and papers for 2004 Tropical Marine Ecology of the Bahamas and Tropical Ecosystems of Costa Rica.

Analiese Gerald's insight:

This journal entry is current as it was written in 2004. It is relevant because it gives a basic overview of what a mangrove swamp is and then goes on to describe the type of animal life in this type of swamp, adaptations the swamp has gone through, and human impact on the swamp along with information on the conservation of it. It has good authority because it was published by Miami University. The information is most likely pretty accurate due to the fact that they used a plentiful amount of sources to collect their information which are all sited at the bottom of the page.
