But when it comes to VR, things are not so clear, judging by comments made by several executives and designers in the gaming industry recently.

You see all those posts floating around Facebook and Twitter – getting all those likes and shares and retweets. You watch all those pins getting repinned. You scratch your head and wonder “what are they doing that I am not??” You analyze competitors that are doing well on social media can’t quite put your finger on what they are doing that is working so darn well.

Can high-tech photosynthesis turn CO2 into fuel for your car?

Can high-tech photosynthesis turn CO2 into fuel for your car? | Managing Technology and Talent for Learning & Innovation | Scoop.it
It’s not science fiction: research groups all over the world have been working to develop artificial photosynthesis, which could greatly reduce our dependence on crude oil and make use of the growing amount of manmade carbon dioxide emissions that contribute to climate change. The concept received a nod from US President Barack Obama when he mentioned “turning sunlight into liquid fuel” in his State of the Union speech in January.

Open Innovation 2.0 (OI2) is a new paradigm based on a Quadruple Helix Model where government, industry, academia and civil participants work together to co-create the future and drive structural changes far beyond the scope of what any one organization or person could do alone. Neuroplasticity: Rewiring Your Brain For Optimal Learning

Neuroplasticity: Rewiring Your Brain For Optimal Learning | Managing Technology and Talent for Learning & Innovation | Scoop.it

"Just as weightlifting and physical exercise builds your muscles, when you’re learning the nerve cells in your brain are growing with mental exercise and these neurons are developing greater connectivity.

The growth and rewiring of our brain cells is called neuroplasticity. As we learn, our brain literally remodels itself based on our new experiences.

Until recently, the conventional thinking was that our brains were hardwired at birth and therefore unchangeable. In actuality, our brains are like malleable plastic that is constantly being reshaped by our daily experiences."

Exponential Organizations Are The Future Of Global Business And Innovation

Exponential Organizations Are The Future Of Global Business And Innovation | Managing Technology and Talent for Learning & Innovation | Scoop.it

"Here’s a strange thought: Not very long ago, vertical integration was the cutting edge of global business. Indeed, well into the last century, the companies considered to be at the forefront of innovation were those resting atop the largest and most sprawling networks of operation.

Today’s business leaders stake their success on the opposite model of development. Increasingly, “agility” is the determining factor of market competitiveness, “leanness” its new underlying impetus. The fear of being outmaneuvered in the digital age has sent even cumbersome corporate giants like General Electric scrambling to adopt methodologies from the startup community." By Nabyl Charania
