Study Reveals Fascinating Possibilities for Video Gaming and Brain Development and Repair | Managing Technology and Talent for Learning & Innovation | Scoop.it
Not only does the study by Simone Kühn of Max Planck Institute for Human Development and Charité University Medicine show us that brain connectivity can be dramatically improved by gaming but the recent Berlin study (titled ‘Playing Super Mario Induces Structural Brain Plasticity: Gray Matter Changes Resulting from Training with a Commercial Video Game’) also shows that the use of video games from a young age can also increase neurogenesis, which is the very important process of growing new neurons in the brain.

As a result, the size of a child’s brain can be directly linked to early life stimulation such as video games and education. The results of this study can also be applied to explore the subject of brain plasticity and cognitive aging.

New chip lets gadget developers build mobile apps into their devices

New chip lets gadget developers build mobile apps into their devices | Managing Technology and Talent for Learning & Innovation | Scoop.it
Two years ago, a small group of engineers from a company called RF Digital launched a Kickstarter campaign for the RFduino, a Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) 4.0-enabled embedded controller that would be compatible with the open-source Arduino platform. The RFduino got significant traction with both hobbyists and major corporations as a development platform for everything from one-of-a-kind "maker" projects to prototypes for Internet of Things applications. But while RDduino eased the hardware development path for wirelessly connected devices, RFduino developers still faced another problem faced by all hardware developers: building applications for iOS or Android and getting them through the app approval process.

"Design Thinking toma las herramientas que usa el diseñador para diseñar productos y servicios, pero enfocado más en la interacción entre las personas y estos productos, y servicios. Además a pesar de lo que el término “thinking” pueda hacernos creer, el Design Thinking es más de llamado a la acción y no solo al pensamiento, y es por eso que Design Thinking se le conoce como la metodología  en donde: 1. Se aprende Haciendo, 2.- Se Construye Haciendo y 3.
