Millions of these robotic bees may roam the world in the near future

This science-fiction infomercial was made to raise awareness of the fact that bees—which are crucial for the survival of all species, including ours*—are dying all around the world. The fact is that this video isn't too far from the truth: bees may go extinct if we don't act promptly and scientists are already working on robotic replacements.

¿Será posibe que en el futuro no muy lejano los seres humanos construyan una relación tan estrecha con los robots como si se tratara de otros humanos? Muchos investigadores están explorando la interacción robot-humano con la finalidad de crear más que vínculos racionales con ellos.  Las películas de ciencia ficción nos han transmitido desde siempre esa posibilidad, pero el impacto no es comparable cuando esta ficción se comienza a convertir en realidad.  Guy Hofmann es un investigador que trata de crear robots con sentimientos.  Vean este video TED y deténganse a observar la escena en la que presenta a robots que son capaces de improvisar música acompañando a un músico de carne y hueso.
