See very graphically how far that little bird goes out and tweets!

Delete the scoop?

As I have found with my own content your strategy will change based on your readers input and traffic analysts. Setting your goals but leaving room for other options can generate new revenue sources.

Greaty note from Brian about starting in one place with your content, watching data and ending up in another. Leave room for pivots, tweaks and things that go bump in the night. Delete the scoop?

Collaborative marketing will mean that marketers truly shift from marketing “at” consumers to marketing “with” consumers. We have reached a tipping point where a penalty will be paid by those companies who simply view social as a mass communication channel for blasting out messages to a mass audience. Delete the scoop?

KEN'S KEY TAKEAWAY: This is an important look at the need for curation and digital media literacy. I like that it goes deeper than just 'information overload' but also mentions how we tend to limit our spectrum of incoming information because our friends are proably sharing the same things as 70% of the rest of the web. I don't like driving into a landing page with nothing other than a download call to action, but this Hubspot deck is worth making an exception. These stats are helpful, beyond helpful. My favorite is this one that corrects the belief that using social media less promotes more engagement when the opposite is in fact the case. Schedule doesn't create engagement your content DOES, but all things being equal don't let the uninformed push you into bad decisions about schedule. Delete the scoop?

I think Slideshare is just a great knowledge and collaboration tool, getting better as time goes on.
From the article: "Data collected by ComScore and presented in this infographic reveals SlideShare has 5 times more traffic from business owners than Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and LinkedIn(which now owns SlideShare)." ~ Deb
