Robin Good: Just as much as music is no longer in the hands of record companies and books are no longer in the hands of traditional book publishers, learning is not anymore in the hands of schools and other educational institutions.

 

Today a person can learn from a myriad of new different sources, at his own pace and time.

He urges people to find mentors and experts to teach the skills they need, rather than investing six figures in a traditional college education that is unlikely to contribute to their ability to earn a living.

I have mixed feelings about suggesting that people forgo or drop out of college, but I believe we are seeing a trend worth noting.


People are looking to non-traditional sources to learn from. Education and business are merging. "

Résumé des points importants d'un retour d'expérience d'un webmaster ayant sorti un site de la pénalité Google Panda (algorithme de référencement naturel).

 

Note personnelle : de nombreux liens vers des conseils pour éviter (ou sortir) d'une pénalité de Google Panda. Une telle sanction peut faire plonger le trafic issu de Google. L'effet serait dramatique pour la plupart des e-commerces (souvent peu accès sur le multi canal).

Les sites ecommerce ne sont pas des sites comme les autres en terme de contenu…oui, c’est une généralité, mais c’est un moyen d’intégrer un sujet que je vais développer aujourd’hui : les risques de duplicate content sur les sites ecommerce.

 

Note personnelle : je connais des e-commerçants qui seront ravis de pouvoir enfin obtenir une réponse claire à la question du contenu dupliqué.
