Client focus is not only a key principle of ISO 9001 QMS but the backbone of performance within organizations. It has been clearly demonstrated and established over ages that private and public companies not thoroughly customer oriented were bound to collapse and disappear. ISO 9001 should basically be summarized in one single principle which client focus because it definitely drives the other 7 principles. Needless to say, ISO QMS principles boil down to one : client focus.

"Diviser la difficulté en autant de parcelles qu'il se peut pour mieux la résoudre" disait René Descartes dans son ouvrage "Le discours de la méthode". C'est toute la philosophie qui sous tend l'approche processus ! Il est vrai que la confusion est permanente dans les organisations entre processus, procédure et mode opératoire.
