Use of Scoop.it! for Teaching: Optimism or Caution?
Sara Akil's comment, April 1, 2013 6:35 PM
..depends on the topics ^^
Personally, I do like it. It makes you get more and more curious and manage easily your favorite topics..things you wanna learn, other things you discover. Traditional teaching is no longer efficient without the use of technology to catch students' eyes and not just bring a piece of information that one may find in the internet while the teacher is talking about it.

It is true that it sometimes takes much time to download the application which will enable you to learn the article on your phone but what is the purpose to read it on the computer whereas you can take a walk and grab your old newspaper at the news stand..
Pablo Haguet's comment, March 19, 2013 7:09 AM
The author of the article had definitely had a bad experience about an app... True story.
Clémentine Morice's comment, March 20, 2013 8:31 AM
Very well written and perceptive article. It is indeed more complicated, longer and frustrating to find information on the web with all this advertisiging. You're almost forced to download apps or to see ads that have no link with the actual content you're looking for...The web is definitely a good tool for advertising brands and companies but this should be thought witt more care : it doesn't make people enthusiast anymore when there is too much, I think it tends to annoy them more than anything else.
