I would go as far to say the mainframe has itself been a cloud for decades. =A collection of fast, upgradable, highly available, plug-and-play, evolving, self tuning, dynamic, flexible, scalable, self-healing, self-aware, virtualised hardware and software resources requiring minimal supervision. Maybe it should be renamed "Maincloud"
