Lo interpersonal en el cerebro cambiante, la neurobiología del "nosotros": The Neurobiology of "We"

Lo interpersonal en el cerebro cambiante, la neurobiología del "nosotros": The Neurobiology of "We" | Maestr@s y redes de aprendizajes | Scoop.it
ProfeRed's insight:

..."Relationships change the brain

I asked Dr. Daniel Siegel, founder of the emerging field of interpersonal neurobiology: How does the brain change as we influence each other? He has spent more than twenty years investigating the profound influence on us of those around us, or what he calls “the neurobiology of ‘we.’”5 Siegel is Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at the UCLA School of Medicine, co-director of the Mindful Awareness Research Center, and director of the Mindsight Institute. He’s convinced that the “we” connection is a little-understood, but powerful means for individual and societal transformation that should be taught in schools and churches, and even enter into politics.

“Interpersonal neurobiology isn’t a form of therapy,” he told me, “but a form of integrating a range of scientific research into a picture of the nature of human reality. It’s a phrase I invented to account for the human effort to understand truth. We can define the mind. We can define mental health. We can base everything on science, but I want to base it on all the sciences. We’re looking for what we call ‘consilience.’ If you think of the neuroscientist as a blind man looking at only one part of an elephant, we are trying to discover the ‘whole-elephant’ view of reality.”...

“We can be both an ‘I’ and part of an ‘us’” - Este artículo de Parabola Magazine explica en inglés las bases neuropsicológicas del cerebro interconectado. Nos recuerda cómo estos cambios afectan a cómo somos y a cómo aprendemos (juntos).

An Infinite Collaborative Image Canvas: CanvasDropr

An Infinite Collaborative Image Canvas: CanvasDropr | Maestr@s y redes de aprendizajes | Scoop.it

CanvasDropr provides a virtually infinite online canvas on which you and your friends / contacts can easily add, position, resize and rotate photos and video clips at will.

CanvasDropr can be used to brainstorm around visual collections, to select and organize images, and to prepare visual portfolios or tours to share with others or to be published online.

From the official site: "The center of the CanvasDropr idea is to work and collaborate on a so-called "Canvas".

The canvas can be shared by an unlimited amount of people, and changes made in the canvas are updated real-time in every user’s canvas.

Users can easily drag and drop new images directly from their desktop onto the canvas."

CanvasDrops allows you to text chat in real-time with other "collaborators" you have invited as well as to set permissions for what "public" users can edit or modify on a "public canvas.

It is possible to place photos and video clips coming from Facebook, YouTube, Flickr and Picasa or to import one simply by providing its URL.

The final canvas can be shared on FB or Twitter, downloaded as an "image" or a .zip file containing all of its images and can also be "embedded" on any site or blog.
